wenglor sensoric gmbh has been nominated for the final of the competition "Entrepreneur Of The Year" for the sixth time.
In 2009, the award ceremony of the business competition organized by Ernst&Young has taken place for the thirteenth time: An unbiased jury chooses the "Entrepreneur Of The Year" in five categories. Through this award entrepreneurial top performances are identified and honored. Amongst the 77 finalists wenglor sensoric gmbh has been again one of them. Managing director Dieter Baur commented the nomination for the finals as follows: " Being an entrepreneur, I am happy to be one of the finalists once again. I hope my sons will win the title next year!"
"My father has already realized many years ago that there are no borders anymore in our present times and has been continuing the wenglor success story on an international level", says Managing Director Fabian Baur. With the introduction of Dieter Baur´s second son Rafael Baur to the Management Board at the beginning of 2010 wenglor will continue to be a family-managed company. Despite the economic crisis, which has also left its mark on wenglor, new partners have been won abroad and also the product spectrum has been extended.
Also in 2010, wenglor is continuing to focus on innovation and further expansion, which makes it quite likely that the "Entrepreneur of the Year 2010" award will go to Tettnang!
