SPS/IPC/DRIVES Italia, one of the largest international exhibitions for electric automation technology, will take place in Parma from 21nd to 23rd May. It covers not only all components but also systems and integrated automation solutions. wenglor will present its latest products in the field of sensors, identification and security technology there (hall 2, booth H056).
With their new junction, wenglor sensoric gmbh is one of the first manufacturers to succeed in combining the EtherCAT protocol with the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. The all-in-one device provides both signal routing and power supply and thus reduces cabling and installation expenses. Depending on the model, up to seven EtherCAT products can be connected with the robust IP67-rated EtherCAT junctions and two additional I/O ports are available.
Sensor manufacturer wenglor sensoric from the southern German town of Tettnang hosted the “2013 Spring European EtherCAT Plug Celebration” on the 14th and 15th of May, 2013. The two-day workshop was once again promoted by the EtherCAT Technology Group user organization. The event focused on the testing of devices which are connected to each other via the EtherCAT communication protocol which is used by industry.
