Industrial Communication – PROFINET and EtherCAT

With its new range of innovative Industrial Ethernet products wenglor is the first sensor manufacturer to be able to send process and parameter data from sensors directly to the control unit and to ensure integrated Ethernet communication to the field level. The complete system comprises the sensors and all system components that are required for the integration into existing networks. wenglor relies solely on industry standards here. The networking of the various components among each other can be adapted flexibly and individually to the topology concerned, extensions of the system are possible at any time.
The advantages of the Ethernet technology are obvious: Thanks to their high bandwidth the cross-linked components enable real-time communication, very fast data transfer, simultaneous access to process and parameter data and the site-independent configuration of the sensors.
Flexible connectivity, protection type IP67, web server and Power over Ethernet (PoE) complete the Ethernet offer of wenglor.
