Safety Light Curtain Type 2 Hand Protection
Safety Light Curtains Type 2 provide finger protection (Resolution 14 mm) and hand protection (Resolution 30 mm) according to Performance Level d (PL d). Thanks to the visible red light and the simple configuration via DIP switch and the free wenglor software a quick, easy and secure startup is possible. The evaluation electronic is integrated in the transmitter, so the Safety Light Curtain can be mounted in a space-saving way. Combined with the relay unit, safety oriented load circles are switchable.

Certified Safety
The Safety Light Curtains comply with PL d according to EN ISO 13849-1 and have been certified by the TÜV South. They are ESPE type 2 according to EN 61496.
Operating and Function modes
The Safety Light Curtains generally integrate various operating modes (Reduced Resolution, Fix Blanking) and function modes (Safety Operating Mode, Restart Inhibit, Floating Blanking, Contactor Monitoring).
Interface
Safety light curtain functions can be activated, and diagnosis functions can be initialised via the RS-485 interface.
Simple Installation
The Safety Light Curtains can be mounted easily thanks to the T-nut, the necessary Mounting Brackets are included in delivery. The mounting doesn’t influence the function and thus can be made independent of the position.
